STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

STRUCTURAL DESIGN APPROACH:
The project will be dealt by structural analysts who can produce accurate structural model using industry standard software’s & capable of interpreting results in a logistic manner, well versed with standard codes of practice yielding an efficient, safe & economical Structure.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN METHODOLOGY:
All RCC Structures shall be designed according to Limit State Method as specified in IS: 456 – 2000. Steel structures if any, shall be designed as per IS: 800-2007. Water retaining structures such as Over head water tank, Sump tanks and STP are designed as per IS: 3370 – 2009. For design of retaining walls and other earth retaining structures, the loads considered will be based on the soil properties of the filling materials and the design will confirm to IS: 456 – 2000 with maximum crack width of 0.2mm.

OPTIONS FOR VARIOUS STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS:
Based on Structural integrity and Economics of the project, various structural schemes such as.
1) Grid Beam Slab system.
2) Flat Slab System.
3) Flat Plate System.
4) Waffle Slab System.
5) Pre or Post tensioned Systems.
6) Tube in Tube System.

SYSTEM DESIGN TO ACHIEVE LEED CERTIFICATIONS:
Recommending structural & sub-structure system to yield minimum excavation quantity, reusing the same in the project itself.
Optimal use of Cement and Steel so as to reduce the carbon footprint of the structure.
Use of alternate shuttering system like Aluminum, Fibre-Glass etc.
Suggesting adequate rain water harvesting system
Planning is done in such a manner that the building utilises least amount of energy.
